1650 - Amazing Karl Laine Crystal Necklace
Haunting large sterling silver and rock crystal necklace by Karl Laine for Scandinavian company Sten & Laine. The impressive size, 2.5" in diameter, is offset by the negative spaces incorporated in the design. The natural rock crystal measures 8mm in diameter, and the original chain is 27" long. There is no clasp - the necklace slides over the head. The marks on the back of the bale are the mark for Sten & Laine, the Finnish Turku city mark and the date mark Y7 for 1976. In addition, the initials KL appear in the inner top part of the pendant.
